Back and Forth is my forthcoming traditional tune fiddle album, due for release next Friday February 13th, featuring piano from Michael Biggins, guitar from Innes White and piano accordion from Andrew Waite. I’m so excited to finally be sharing these tunes with you.

Celtic Connections HighlightsJanuary was a whirlwind — I was lucky enough to bring both of my current projects to Celtic Connections this year. I performed a Back and Forth set with Michael Biggins on piano, and also presented my song project The Highest Blossom with guitarist Heather Cartwright.

Michael and I also had the pleasure of performing live on a special Celtic Connections episode of Travelling Folk, recorded in front of a live audience. We played two tune sets and even included a couple of songs. If you’re based in the UK, you can listen back here:

It was such a special experience to share both sides of my work at the festival, and I’m so grateful to the Celtic Connections team, and everyone who came along and supported the concerts.

Michael Biggins will be in Ireland from Glasgow in February, and we have a few launch concerts lined up to celebrate the release of Back and Forth. I’d absolutely love to see some familiar faces at any of these:

February 20th – O’Connor’s, Doolin (as part of the Russell Festival) - free entry
