Back and Forth is the debut album from Irish fiddle player and composer Gráinne Brady, due for release in February 2026. A lively, tune-led record, it brings together traditional Irish repertoire and contemporary compositions shaped by years of playing across Ireland and Scotland.

Rooted firmly in the tradition, Back and Forth reflects the musical exchanges that have defined Gráinne's journey — tunes learned early on, music absorbed through sessions and touring, and the influence of time spent living in Glasgow. Energetic, rhythmic and direct, the album celebrates the social life of tunes and the relationships that carry them forward.
Gráinne is joined by an outstanding line-up of musicians: Michael Biggins on piano, Innes White on guitar and Andrew Waite on accordion. Their collective lift and sensitivity bring warmth, clarity and drive to the arrangements, while keeping the focus firmly on the tunes themselves.
